Could you summarize your project in just one sentence?

Real-time 3D meteorological services worldwide.

What has it meant for the company to be engage in the FIWARE acceleration programme?

We have been able to develop our project much faster than expected due to de the advanced tools of Fiware Generic Enablers and the coaching sessions.

Could you explain how your project has improved working with FIWARE technologies and FINODEX services?

Fiware technologies are an advanced software developments to treat and manipulate information in a very efficient way giving the opportunity to create innovative services.
Our business idea has been improving until obtaining a real and feasible product due to the advice and coaching services of Finodex.

Has Open Data brought real value to your business?

Open data is a freely data with a lot of information that can be used to transform and distribute the new generated added value to anyone. Publishing and obtaining this data is less expensive and time consuming which makes the projects go faster.

3D Meteo is a Metereological Service. Where did the idea come from and what is its added value?

3D games are becoming more and more successful between users, why not a more realistic and accurate way of looking for weather forecasts? The world is changing to a visualization of the information in 3D environments. Meteorological services also need to change to these new technologies.

What are your expectations for 2016 and beyond?

We want to expand our project worldwide with new open data information and introduce atmospheric satellite information in real time for different services providing information for agriculture, meteorological disasters ( haze, floods, fire...), vegetation and others.

Where do you see your company in five years time?

Innovation and innovation, that is the key of Meteo for Energy. Looking for new blue oceans.
